It is attached to the Mill house, a beautiful Alpujarra cortijo. It has its own entrance and is quite private with its own sitting out area with table, chairs, sun parasol and sun loungers. It is quiet and peaceful surrounded by olive and almond trees There are 2 fig trees and a number of vines, we have planted orange and lemon trees and hopefully they will soon bear fruit.
There is varied bird life to watch and often the Bonellies eagles can be seen flying overhead. There are also many wild flowers and herbs surrounding the mill. some of these only grow in the Alpujarra Sierra Nevada
This is an ideal alpujarra property for pursuits such as alpujarra holiday walking in the alpujarra mountains and /mountain biking , horse riding , indulge in some complementary therapies , or simply relax with a glass of local wine eating the famous jamon serrano Alpujarra , a perfect Alpujarra holiday.
Yator has 2 bars and a small shop, vans come to the village 6 days a week selling bread, fish and fruit and vegetables, bigger shops are at Cadiar and Ugijar about 20 minutes drive away.
Yator has a beautiful church in the plaza with parts of the building dating back to the 15 th Century.
Also in the plaza is a working olive mill, the mill works very long hours in January and February. Ed uardo will gladly give you a tour of his mill and you can buy Olive oil from him, in fact olives from Cerradura go this mill.
The Alpujarra climate is wonderful with an average of 3000 sunshine hours per year and you very definitely see 4 definite seasons

Outside
There is an outdoor table with chairs, sun umbrella, sun beds and BBQ. This outdoor area is raised higher than the land surrounding the house and is quite private.
